Bonfire Night is on 5th November. Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes is a popular British festival.
People celebrate it with fireworks and bonfires. They bring wood, newspapers, magazines, paper bags and cardboard boxes to build big bonfires in the open air, away from trees and houses.
People eat a lot of jacket potatoes and hot dogs on Bonfire Night.
Children make a Guy, the figures of a man, from old clothes and newspapers. They put the Guy on top of the bonfire.
